Behind the scenes: getting ready for day one

A peek at how our team is preparing the classrooms, the play garden and the very first day for our founding families.

Opening a brand-new school is a little like preparing for a big family celebration: lots of planning, plenty of excitement and a long checklist. Here is a peek at what has been happening behind the scenes.

Rooms made for little explorers

Every classroom has been set up with child-height furniture, open shelves that children can reach and cosy corners for stories. The soft-play room and the rest room are ready, and the play garden has had its final safety checks.

A team that has been learning together

Our teachers and carers have been spending time together planning the first weeks, practising routines and getting to know the Cambridge curriculum framework in depth, so every child gets a warm and consistent welcome.

Planning a gentle first day

Day one will be short and sweet, with time for families to stay, explore and meet everyone. Over the following weeks we will build up gradually, at each child’s pace.

If you would like to be part of our founding families, find out how to join. We can’t wait to meet you.
